Terms of Service

Last updated: May 1, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of finality.in (the "Service"), operated by Finality Editorial. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Editorial content

Our briefs are journalism, not legal advice. We summarise published court orders to help readers understand the legal landscape. Always consult a qualified advocate before acting on anything you read here.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You may not impersonate another person or attempt to access another user's account.

3. Premium subscription

  • Premium plans are sold via Razorpay on this website. Pricing, duration, and benefits are shown on the upgrade page at the time of checkout.
  • Premium activates on payment capture and runs for the stated duration. Auto-renewal is opt-in only.
  • Refunds are at our discretion within seven days of payment, less any payment-gateway fees, where you have not consumed the benefit.
  • We may change prices for future renewals with prior notice. Existing paid periods are not affected.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't scrape the site or republish whole articles.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overwhelm us.
  • Quoting headlines and short extracts with attribution and a link back is welcome.

5. Intellectual property

All editorial content is © Finality Editorial, except where attributed. Court orders and judgements are public records and not our copyright.

6. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided "as is". We don't warrant accuracy, fitness for any specific use, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at New Delhi.
